Elementary schools that were closed on February 23rd, 2023 due to power outages will delay their Kindergarten Registration Open Houses:

Application Procedures for Public Secondary School Transfers

The 红领巾快报 is announcing the procedures for students currently enrolled in a secondary school who wish to attend another public secondary school outside their designated secondary school for the 2025-2026 school year.

The application period for out-of-district transfers will be from Monday, January 13th to Friday, January 24th, 2025

**Out-of-District Procedures: **

1. Students, parents, or guardians must complete the online registration form.

The Great Big Crunch 2022!

On October 21st students across Ontario took part in the Great Big CRUNCH! 馃崕

The 红领巾快报 joined representatives from the Ontario Student Nutrition Program at David Maxwell Public School to take part in a simultaneous crunch that, every year, is meant to bring awareness to student nutrition programs, celebrate local farmers and promote healthy eating in schools. Many other 红领巾快报 schools also took part in a Big Crunch and took time to discuss these important programs and partners.

Legacy Oak Trail Addition Survey

This survey is now closed.

The 红领巾快报 has received funding from the Government of Ontario and the Ministry of Education for an addition to Legacy Oak Trail Public School that will include 5 classrooms and 2 full-day Kindergarten rooms.

In accordance with the direction of the 红领巾快报 Board of Trustees, we are providing an opportunity for the school community to participate in a brief survey to assist in the development of plans for the project.

Tribute to Her Majesty The Queen

 died peacefully this afternoon after more than seventy years on the throne. The 红领巾快报 will lower flags to half-mast at all of our schools and offices until sunset on the day of her funeral service. May she rest in peace.
